Funeral services for the late Shirley Ann Smalls Hayes will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, Blackville, SC. Interment services will follow immediately at Blackville Cemetery, Blackville, SC. Viewing for the public will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Shirley Ann Smalls Hayes, made her entrance into this world on September 2, 1946 in Barnwell County. She made her exit on July 2, 2015 at Southern Palmetto Hospital in Barnwell, South Carolina. Shirley was the daughter of the late Carlyle Smalls Jr. and Dora Mae Felder Smalls. Shirely was married to the late Willie Hayes Sr. for 48 years. She is also preceded in death by three siblings, Dianne Smalls, Leroy Smalls Sr. and Carlyle Smalls III. Cherishing her beautiful memories are a daughter, Betty Staley; four sons, Willie (Iesha) Hayes, Jr., Gary Hayes, Ricky Hayes and Robert Hayes; five sisters, Mattie James, Janice Smalls, Catherine (Al) Washington, Jackie Smalls, Vanchestea Lewis; five brothers, Bobby (Willie Mae) Smalls, Edward (Essie) Smalls, Terry Smalls, Rafael Smalls and Raphael Smalls; ten grandchildren, Alisha Staley, Monique Staley, Shayla Hayes, Jasmine Hayes, Shayla Hayes, Mykenna Hayes, Zorria Hayes, Kayla Hayes, Ricky Dinh, and Aiyana Hayes; a special friend, Hattie Milligan and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
