Funeral services for the late SSG Travis Antwon Bryant will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Denmark- Olar High School Gymnasium, Denmark, SC. SSG Bryant will be placed in the gymnasium one hour before the service. Interment services will follow immediately at Hope Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. Elder William Smith will officiate. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday between the hours of 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home. SSG Travis Antwon Bryant was born September 11, 1980. He was called home on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Fort Hunter Ligett, California. Travis was a former student of Denmark-Olar High School class of 1998. In 1997, Travis began his journey into the Armed Services. He received additional schooling at Aiken Technical College. He enlisted in the Army National Guard and later transferred to Army Reserves. He was employed as a maintenance technician with Dayco (Williston, SC), HP Pelzer (Thomson, GA) and GIW (Grovetown, GA). He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Tommysina Bryant; three daughters: Olivia, Isis and Tiye; parents, Minister Moses and Eva Johnson Bryant, Sr.; siblings; Eric (Tamiko) Bryant, Aric (Debora) Bryant, Moses (Thelma) Bryant, Jr., Aveia (Charles) Bryant, Gregory Bryant and Ashiel Bryant; aunts, Lizzie Mae Brooker, Dessie Mae Bryant, Cosie Bryant, Lovely Bryant, Emma Dicks, Mary Lou (James) Hammond, Vera (Eddie) Hayes, Bertha (Charles) Johnson and Janie Bryant; uncles, Walter Bryant, Jeremiah (Virginia) Johnson and Nathel (Betty) Johnson; father-in-law and mother -in-law, Tommy (Lannie) Bradley; a brother-in-law, CWO Jeremiah C. Bradley; two sisters-in-law, Angela (Cory) Williams and Christine (Alton) Coker; his grandmother, Annie Bell Bradley; an additional twelve aunts and ten uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
