God called his Son, Steven Sanders, to rest in his arms on
March, 7 2023. Steven was born on November 23, 1957 in Kings
County Hospital, Brooklyn New York, to Oveta Sanders and Oliver
Shueler. Steven, aka " Uncle Steve" was a "Jack of all Trades", working in several professions including plumbing, construction, sales,
distribution and marketing, an independent business owner. Steve
was educated in the New York Board of Education System, ascertaining
various trade skills. A family man, strong, loving, humble and a
peace-maker. Steve enjoyed loving his family and was the caretaker
of his mother and step-father (Herman Sanders / Jr. Brown) until
their demise. Steve lived a very vibrant life until the onset of COPD.
Steve never gave up in the midst of his illness. A fisherman, a fixer
(of tangible things and of hearts) would describe him best. Son,
brother, grandfather and friend describe him best, teaching others,
in the absence of finances "I can give you my love and support", the
main ingredients of a wonderful existence in life.

Such a loving spirit endured the loss of those predeceasing, his
mother Oveta, his father "Moot", his step-father, "Jr. Brown", his
brothers, Robert, Charles, Darryl and Donald; his sisters, Julia, Emma
Lee, Ruby Mae, Tina, Annette and Janice.

Until we meet again, we still remain his daughter, Malika Chambers
(grandchildren, Malik and Keona), son, Tobias Riley, his loving sisters,
Sandra Sanders and Marilyn Sanders; a host of nieces, nephews, great
nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, (Boo-Boo), cousins, family and
friends. Each of us were near and dear to his heart, and he treated
us all as if we were his one and only true loves. Steve's "ride or die",
who cared for him in his health struggle, hospital encounters and
daily needs, Sharon Carson, Cadedra Ellison, "lil Jerry Sanders" and
Terranasia Carson. (family loving family for being present in South
Carolina, we love you).
