Ms. Tanajah Sapp was born December 13, 2002, in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Nicholas Sapp Sr. and Tomeka Washington of Denmark, South Carolina. Tanajah departed this life on March 27, 2024.

Tanajah was raised and resided in Denmark, South Carolina. She graduated from Denmark Olar High School in 2021. She also attended Denmark Technical College where she studied nursing.

Tanajah enjoyed life to the fullest. A smile was always on her face. She loved her loud music with the wind blowing, long lashes, and even longer conversations.  She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her close family and friends. She was a root, always helping and taking care of others.

Tanajah was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Sapp Sr; grandfather, Horace Odom; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Sapp; auntie, Annie Sapp; Godmother, Nakelia Donaldson and nephew, J'khari Robinson.

Tanajah leaves behind her loving mother, Tomeka Washington; her siblings, Denearis Sapp, Chauntavia Williams, Ni'Zayveonna Porter, Aanyree Sapp, Nicholas Sapp Jr, and Jedda Childs all of Denmark, SC; a loving fiancé, Trequan Stokes; grandmother, Annette Washington and grandfather, James Moody; uncles, Keenan Washington (Zakiya), Shawn Washington (Melissa), Maurice Sapp, Horace Sapp Sr, Timothy Sapp, And Freddie Sapp; aunts, Detrae Sapp Odumgba (Matthew), Priscilla Sapp, and Tonya Sapp; nephews, Kay'Cyn Williams and Zaiden Gilmore; Godmother, Shannon Glover as well as a host of family and friends that she held close in her heart.
