Warner (W.T.) Walker was born on September 7, 1933 to the late Hartwell and Viola Walker in Olar, South Carolina. He departed this life peacefully at the home that he shared with his devoted friend, Orphelia Duncan on February 3, 2025.

He was educated in Bamberg County Schools and received his formal education at Denmark Technical College.  "W.T." worked most of his life in the timber industry until his retirement.

Those who knew him, had a fond memory of "W.T." being one of the most humble and meek souls that you would ever know.  Two of his favorite sayings were, "BO" and "Sho Nuff".

"W.T." served this country faithfully and patriotically as a member of the United States Army and fought in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters, Claudia, Willeen and Constance.

Those left to cherish his memories are his nephew, Ronald Carter of Jamaica, New York. He is also survived by a loving and devoted companion, Orphelia Duncan and three grandchildren, Timothy, Courtney and Dion.
