Funeral services for the late Mr. Willie "Boy" Berry Jr. will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Peter Baptist Church in Elko, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at the church cemetery. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. On October 20, 2013, Mr. Willie "Boy" Berry, Jr., entered into eternal rest following a brief illness at Barnwell County Hospital in Barnwell, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Willie and Annie Brown Berry. Willie attended the public school system in Elko, South Carolina. Early in life, Willie joined St. Peter Baptist Church. He was employed as a farmer and he was known as being very witty. He loved and adored his family. Willie was preceded in death by a son, Willie "Fuzzie" Berry. The memory of "Boy" will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him. Cherishing his memories are four daughters, Wanda Berry of Hempstead, NY, Beverly Walker of Des Moines, Iowa, Verda Bell Berry of Pembroke, GA and Janie Mae Hosey of Williston, SC; four sons, Ronnie and Paul Berry of Williston, SC, James Berry of Charlotte, NC, Richard Williams of Tucson, AZ; three additional children, Denise, Dennis and Tony Berry of Williston, SC; sisters, Lillie (Thad) Harrison of Blackville, SC and Gloria Garvin of Williston, SC; three uncles, Clarence (Norsie) Wright, James Gloster and Willie (Martha) Gloster; two aunts, Dorothy (Abraham) and Lillie Berr Bradley both of Blackville, SC; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a devoted companion, Johnetta Robinson of Barnwell, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
