Willie Lee  Dukes, 72, of Blackville, SC, passed away at Williston Healthcare & Rehabilitation on his birthday, May 13, 2024, after a brief illness.  He was born in Barnwell, SC on May 13,1952 to the late Clinton and Edna (Pressey) Dukes.

Willie Lee spent most of his youth and adult life driving tractors on the farm for Mr. David Bodiford. It was a job that he excelled in and thoroughly enjoyed. He rarely missed a day of work and remained steadfast until his health began to decline.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clinton Dukes; mother, Edna Pressey Dukes and two brothers, Nathaniel Pressley & Earthel Dukes.

Willie Lee was an extraordinarily kind, friendly, and loving man. He was passionately loved and will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish two sisters, Ruth Kinard of Blackville, SC and Effie (Nathaniel) Porter of Springfield, SC; three brothers, Luther Dukes and Clinton Dukes (of the home),Blackville, SC and McKinley Dukes of Denmark, SC; two nephews raised as brothers, Ronnie Pressley and Albert (Malissa) Pressley both of Blackville, SC; a close friend, Harold Lee Nix and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
