Rev. Willie Charles Flood, son of the late Kiziah Lovia Hanton

Flood and Thomas Flood, Sr. was born January 23, 1942 in Orangeburg,

SC. He departed this life into eternal rest on Tuesday,

December 3, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, SC.

Rev. Flood was married to the late Minister Carol Lee Riddick

Flood. He was the owner and operator of Dash Taxis #3 and Flood

Cleaning Service.

He was a man that carried many titles: Son - Brother - Husband -

Father - Grandfather - Great-Grandfather - Uncle and Friend to

all. He attended The New Life Theological Seminary, The Willamina

Clemon Davis Bible Institute and went on to receive his Bachelor of

Theology. He was called into the ministry and was ordained for

over 25 years and was a member of Spires Chapel Baptist Church.

Rev. Flood was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife,

Carol L. R. Flood, brother, Thomas Flood, Jr. and a sister, Rosa L.

Flood.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: a daughter, Angela (Timothy)

Flood-Joyner of Columbia, SC; sons, Lennie (Patricia) Flood

of Richmond, VA, Kenny and Ronnie Flood of Orangeburg, SC;

sisters, Sarah L. Livingston and Lovia M. Dash of Norcross, GA

and Jannie Flood of Orangeburg, SC; nine grandchildren, Glawon

Flood, LaChonsi Armstrong, Quinetta Jennings, JaCorey Food,

SisGourney Flood, Jordyn Flood, Summer Flood, Naveah Lowden

and Bryson Flood; two great-grands, Cordae Armstrong and Drayton

Armstrong; one brother-in-law, John (Patricia) Riddick of Suffolk,

VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well

as a special friend for over 50 years, Mr. George Summers of Columbia,

SC.
