Funeral services for the late Mr. Willie James "Fat" Glover will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church, Denmark, South Carolina.  Viewing for the public will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Willie James "Fat" Glover, was born on January 26, 1941 to Chester and Marie Glover.

Willie James was educated in the public schools in Bamberg, South Carolina.

He joined Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church at an early age until his health began to decline.

Willie James worked as a farmer for many years. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Rosabell C. Glover and this union was blessed with five children. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Emma Jean Glover; one sister, Janie Mae Stokes and one brother, Elliott Glover.

Although Willie's presence will be no more, he will leave beautiful memories for his family and friends to forever cherish.

Willie James is survived by four children, Laureth Glover of Bamberg, SC, Sharlene (Clary) Lincoln of Denmark, SC, Symone Glover of Blackville, SC and Dywane Glover of Bamberg, SC; three sisters, Rutha Mae Mack of Bamberg, SC, Mattie Ruth Richburg of Brooklyn, NY and Eartha Rene Glover of Queens, NY: eleven grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Ned Chilsolm; one sister-in-law, Margaret (James) Irons; a special friend, Mrs. Annie Clay Marshall of Bamberg, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
