Mr. Willie B. Raysor was born on February 28, 1933 in Bamberg, South Carolina and was the son of the late Henry and Olivia Raysor.  Willie transitioned on November 5, 2022 at his residence.

Willie graduated from Richard Carroll High School (Class of 1953), Bamberg, South Carolina. After completing high school, he enrolled at Denmark Area Trade School, Denmark, South Carolina.  Willie served his country faithfully and patriotically by enlisting in the United States Army and fighting in the Korean War.  After serving in the Army, Willie worked as a fabricator at Ducane Heating Company and he worked at Savannah River Site.

Willie was a member of Thankful Baptist Church and served as vice chairman of the trustee board. Willie was united in holy matrimony to  Rosa Ann McFadden Raysor and this union was blessed with a daughter, Marsha.

Cherishing Willie's precious memories are his daughter, Marsha Raysor; sister, Clay Sandra Dash; sister-in-law, Georgia Mae Gilchrist (Seemore) along with numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
