Memorial services for the late Mr. Willie James Sherman will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1677 Heritage Highway, Denmark, South Carolina. Willie James Sherman, son of the late George and Christine Sherman was born on June 20, 1943. He was baptized on May 20, 1968 and served faithfully until the day of his death on October 6, 2015. He married the the late Vina Mae Jones and this union was blessed with six loving children, Gerard (Dot) Sherman, Katrina Sherman, Diane Sherman, Esther (Marion) James, Nathan (Theresa) Sherman and Elizabeth Sherman. At the time of his death, Willie was married to Joanne May Johnson whom he wedded on January 16, 1999. The extended children from this union are Anthony W. Johnson, Jared D. Johnson and Angela T. Johnson. Cherishing Willie's precious memories are his loving wife, Joanne Sherman; his loving children, Gerard (Dot) Sherman, Katrina Sherman, Diane Sherman, Esther (Marion) James, Nathan (Theresa) Sherman and Elizabeth Sherman; his extended children, Anthony W. Johnson, Jared D. Johnson and Angela T. Johnson; grandchildren, Jasmine Wallace, Jonathan Sherman, Deon James, Ethan Sherman ; one great grandchild, Armani Wallace; siblings, Leroy (Barbara) Sherman, William (Ann) Sherman, Charles (Sally) Sherman, Georgia (Albert) Toomer and Eartha (Curtis) Chisolm and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
