On September 22, 1979, Yolanda Renee' Cann Epps was born to Lillie Mae Cann and Clary Dowling at Bamberg County Hospital, Bamberg, South Carolina.  She departed this life on March 1, 2025.

Yolanda attended school at Bamberg Ehrhardt High School, graduating with the class of 1998.  She later attended Denmark Technical College.  Yolanda sang with Richard Jamison's group, Morning Stars of Glory" and was a member of Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church, Denmark, SC, where she sang in the choir.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Cann Avinger.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Terrell Epps of Atlanta, GA; a son and daughter that she cherished and loved, Sa'id Epps and Nevaeh Epps; two brothers, Michael Simpkins of Bamberg, SC and Melvin Cann of Columbia, SC; five special cousins, Betty Hightower, Diane Hightower, Tammie Hightower, Jovan Ellison and Dawone Chisolm; aunts and uncles, Betty Ann (Charles) Hightower and Leanna (Arthur) Brabham; a Godmother, Joanne Saxton; seven nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
